A letter from David

Thank you for visiting my website. Like many of you, I am fed up with the way things are in Washington. In Southern Ohio, we’ve had enough of corrupt politicians. We’ve had enough of Wall Street billionaires sending American jobs overseas. We’ve had enough of the rising deficit and the ballooning debt. And we’ve had enough of our representatives pandering to get votes and then ignoring their constituents.

Our district has a higher unemployment rate than any other district in the state. The challenges our country faces today are substantial, and we no longer have the option of kicking the can down the road. Simply put, we need to stop fighting and come together as one nation.

It’s time for a congressman with real solutions to bring real jobs back to Southern Ohio. We need someone who knows how to create jobs, not just feed on the government payroll. We need big ideas like Public Banks at the State and County level in order to restructure our financial system and to solve the massive federal deficit and national debt problem. We need a major Jobs & Energy initiative like the one I have offered to put our region back to work. We must also remember that the Constitution reflects the powers which we the people granted to our Government.

As an entrepreneur, I have built businesses from the bottom up. I have created real American jobs in our district making real products to stimulate our economy. I have fought for a slimmer and more efficient government that can help to put our nation back to work. With your help, we can continue to do that work together in the United States Congress.

We may not always agree on everything, but I will always be honest and tell you the truth. I’ll tell you what I think, not what you want to hear, and in return I ask that you consider who you want to represent your interests. The country needs better leadership and I will prove to you that I am the right person at the right time for this challenge.

But I cannot do it without your help. We need you to volunteer your time, to tell your friends and neighbors, and to donate if you are able. Most importantly, we need your vote on March 6th and November 4th.
